Infertility and being CNBC

Please note although hypnotherapy can be very beneficial in reducing stress, which can play a factor when trying to conceive. For many people this is just one of the factors.

This service is for people who are wanting help to cope with the emotional turmoil of fertility / infertility or who have come to the end of their fertility journey and are trying to process their ‘Childless not by choice’ status.

Infertility is defined as not being able to conceive after at least one year of unprotected sex. 1 in 6 couples will struggle with Infertility. However, a new term is now emerging ‘social infertility’’. Whereby a person is unable to get pregnant due to their circumstances. Another term that is only known within certain circles is CNBC (Childless Not by Choice).

Regardless of the circumstances around not having a child, if this is something you spent many years imagining then trying to cope with infertility & being CNBC is akin to a dealing with a trauma. There will be a grieving process for your unborn children. However, this grieving process can be even harder to deal with due to the silence surrounding it.

Coping with Infertility can bring on feelings of:

  • Shame
  • Jealousy
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief
  • Trauma

Infertility and CNBC

How Hypnotherapy can help

Journeying through Infertility is one of the areas I am most passionate about. While this can be long road, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help. By refocusing your perspective get you in a better mindset to increase coping and resilience. The deep relaxation reduces anxiety and gives you space to mentally process the trauma of being CNBC. By helping you to refocus your perspective you will start looking to, and seeing more of the positives in the life you are living.

As well as 1-1 sessions online or at Nice Touch Treatment rooms I also run a 2.5hr workshop once a month feel free to contact me for a confidential chat.
