Aerialist-Turned-Coach: How I Used Performance Mindset Coaching to Win Gold
I know what it’s like to stand backstage with sweaty palms and a racing heart. I was in my late 30s when I said yes to my first aerial showcase — and it was terrifying. But the rush and pride I felt afterward? Unmatched. That moment sparked something in me.
Fast forward a few years, and I was competing at Pole Dance Ireland as one half of the hoop duo IMOJEM. We won gold.
Not because the nerves disappeared — but because I had the tools to manage them and perform with presence.
Now, I combine my two passions — aerial performance and solution-focused hypnotherapy — to help other performers do the same.
